Formed by the coming together of volcanic rocks and inhabited by the Vikings, Iceland is a place like no other on this planet. Iceland is also blessed with blue ice glaciers and huge geothermal baths. All of these natural wonders helped Iceland attract 2.3 million visitors in 2018, according to figures provided by the Icelandic Tourist Board.
