Eligibility Criteria for Singapore Visit Visa

Here's the eligibility criteria for Singapore visit visa.

Did you know that Singapore is one of the last three surviving city-states in the world or that Singapore’s Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is home to more species of trees than the entire North American Continent? There even is a “Hug Me” machine of Coca Cola in Singapore that dispenses a bottle of Coke when a person hugs the machine!

These are just some of the things that make Singapore a country like no other, attracting travelers from across the globe. Tourists spent almost 61,615,213 days in Singapore in 2018, averaging 3.33 days per stay, according to an article on Budget Direct Insurance.

To travel to this island nation, the first step is to apply for a Singapore visa. For this, you need to start by filling in the visa application form, Form 14A.

Why Did My Visa Application Get Rejected?

Although the reasons for denial of a visa application are usually not disclosed, due to confidentiality purposes, the general reasons for visa rejection are:

  • Double application of visa:
Some people apply for the visa twice. In such cases, your visa application can get canceled.
  • Invalid documents:
If your documents are invalid or incomplete, such as photographs not being according to specifications or passport not being valid for the required duration, your application can be denied.
