Eligibility for Singapore Visa
You are eligible for a Singapore visa if:
- You have a valid passport that is valid for at least two months after your intended stay in the country.
- You have valid air tickets to travel to Singapore as well as return to your home country.
- You have paid the visa processing fee.
- In case you are applying for an employment pass, you must have a job offer for an executive, managerial or specialized job in Singapore, with a salary of at least $3,600 per month.
What Documents are Required for a Singapore Visa?
Along with your application form, you will need to submit certain supporting documents, without which your application will be deemed incomplete. These documents include:
Visa Application Form
You must have an accurately filled and signed visa application form. The form can be downloaded or collected from a visa application center.
Two colored photographs, taken within the last three months are required. Your face and upper shoulders must be clearly visible in the photograph. You must not be wearing any headgear or spectacles in the photograph.
Certain financial documents, such as your payslips for the last three months and bank statements are required to prove that you are financially capable of supporting yourself during your stay in Singapore.
You need to provide details of what you intend to do while in Singapore, including the places you wish to travel to. You also need to provide proof of hotel bookings.
In case you belong to a country that has a risk of Yellow Fever, you must produce proof of Yellow Fever vaccination.

Although the reasons for denial of a visa application are usually not disclosed, due to confidentiality purposes, the general reasons for visa rejection are:
- Double application of visa:
Some people apply for the visa twice. In such cases, your visa application can get canceled.
- Invalid documents:
If your documents are invalid or incomplete, such as photographs not being according to specifications or passport not being valid for the required duration, your application can be denied.
