What is a US Visa Interview?

A visa interview is an interview conducted by a representative of the United States government in order to determine whether or not an applicant is eligible for a visa.

The interview is typically the last step in the visa application process, and it is usually conducted at a U.S. embassy or consulate.

During the interview, the interviewer will ask the applicant a series of questions about their background, their reasons for wanting to visit the United States, and their plans for their time in the country.

The interviewer will also evaluate the applicant’s English language skills. In order to increase the chances of a successful visa interview, it is important to be prepared and to present oneself in a professional and positive manner.

I Filed online DS160 form for renewal of my B1B2 visa. I was not directed to the page for scheduling interview. I deposited the requisite fee (Rupees 15,504/) on 21.08.2023 at AXIS Bank and emailed the information on support-india @usvisascheduling.com. I received a mail acknowledging my mail and that they will revert in 1-2 business days. Neither on your page or on any site of US visa section clear cut guidelines are available what is the next line of action and if appointment for interview is to be scheduled , on which particular site it is to be applied. I wish proper information was provided . Please help.
